Do I need to clean or prepare my home before taking photos?

No. Just walk around and snap natural photos of each room — lived-in spaces are fine.

Should I open closets or drawers?

• Closets: Yes. Open them so the AI can detect clothing, boxes, storage items, etc.
• Drawers: No. Drawers should remain closed and must be empty for long-distance and international moves.

Can I upload videos?

Not yet. Cubesheet currently supports photos only. Video-to-inventory conversion is planned for a future upgrade.

How many photos should I upload?

We recommend 20 photos total for most homes. More photos are only helpful if:

• They show different angles
• You missed a room
• There are fragile/special-care items
• You want movers to see details

Duplicate photos or near-identical angles are unnecessary — the AI still captures inventory even if not fully visible in one image.

What photo formats are supported?

Can I edit the AI-generated inventory?

You can manually add it. The editor lets you enter items, weights, volumes, and notes.

Is my data deleted?

Yes. For security and privacy reasons, your inventory and photos are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Who can see my photos?

Movers can see your photos once you share your private inventory link. Photos help movers understand:
