What Spaces Should You Photograph?
It's crucial to capture every room and space that contains items to be moved. Missing even one area can significantly impact your quote.
Don't Forget Hidden Spaces!
If you forget to photograph your garage containing storage bins, tires, sports equipment, and a stroller, these items will impact your final quote and price. Every space counts!
How to Take Good Photos
Don't stress about perfection! Our AI is designed to work with everyday photos. Just follow these simple guidelines:
Take Wide-Angle Shots
Capture the entire room in your photo. Stand in doorways or corners to get the widest view possible.
Capture Every Angle
Make sure every corner and area of each room is visible in at least one photo. Take 2-3 photos per room from different angles.
No Need to Clean First
Don't worry about tidying up! Our AI will account for clothes on the floor, toys scattered around, and general clutter by estimating boxes for these items.
Keep Cupboards & Drawers Closed
You don't need to open kitchen cabinets or bedroom drawers. Our AI will estimate the number of boxes needed for their contents.
DO Open Closets & Storage Areas
Unlike regular cupboards, closets and storage areas should be photographed openbecause their contents vary significantly and need visual confirmation for accurate estimates.
Include Items Not Moving (For Now)
It's perfectly fine to photograph items you might not be moving. You can easily remove them from the inventory list later.
Individual Items Work Too
If you're only moving select items, you can snap photos of individual pieces instead of entire rooms.
